School News – January

School News

The children have been busy at school preparing for Christmas. We have been rehearsing our ‘Signalong’ virtual nativity ready to perform to parents and carers and reflecting on the Christmas story in Worship. The children have also enjoyed watching a virtual pantomime, writing letters to the elf that leaves footprints in our school, and making Christingles for our annual Christingle Service.
We have also tried to keep our curriculum rich with visits and trips that are now taking place online as well. Year 5 and 6 have had a visit from the Police to discuss being safe online, and Years 3 and 4 have taken part in an ‘Experience Christmas’ with Reverend McKenzie.
We are also pleased to be able to invite you to view our school video (that can be found on the School website Home page).
The staff have done an incredible job working within the new expectations placed upon them while ensuring that school remains a happy and exciting place to be. I would like to thank them for all their hard work and commitment.
Finally, I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
