It’s Siddington Village Hall’s 100th birthday this year and after the events of the last 15 months, a good party seems in order. So, to celebrate the Hall’s centenary, the Village Hall Committee is hosting a party harking back 100 years to the Roaring ‘20s. We’ll be putting on the ‘ritz’ in a Great Gatsby, speak-easy style on the evening of Saturday 20th November.
The formal rededication of the Village Hall will take place during the Siddington Village Hall Carol Concert, being held on Tuesday 21st December 100 years exactly to the day when the Hall was originally dedicated and opened by the Right Hon. Earl Bathurst, CMG.
The Siddington Village Hall Committee hopes many of us lucky Siddington villagers will take the time to join us in celebrating our Hall and the village.
More details on these celebrations will follow in later editions of the Village News.
