With the success of our Harvest festival, we are looking forward to Advent and Christmas. One of the drivers of our curriculum is the theme of Sustainability. In the media, there is much discussion about the damage being done to planet Earth. The children have been discussing how they can live their lives in a more sustainable way. However, it is important to remember that Advent is a time for hope, positivity and looking forward.
The children have also been enjoying their enrichment activities, with opportunities for Forest school, Archery and Science club among the most popular. They are also looking forward to the Pantomime trip and Christingle service at the local Church.
We are supporting the Village Hall 100 years celebrations with an art exhibition entitled ‘Siddington through time’. Please look out for the children’s artwork on display in the hall. The Christmas card competition has also taken place with the two winning entries being on sale at the Village shop.
