I would like to invite all the Siddington community to visit our website and look at the exciting new proposed development for our school. The Corinium Education Trust, Bathurst Development Limited, and Gloucestershire County Council, have worked together to develop plans to dramatically improve the facilities for the children of Siddington. This will offer us a new school hall, office, and workspace. This is a great opportunity for the school to improve the provision and environment for the children. The plans and a short questionnaire (to gain residents’ views) can be found at:

In addition to these exciting developments, we have been working with our parent volunteers and STEM ambassadors to promote and explain the jobs that they do, as part of our science week. We have provided a range of science activities around the theme of ‘growth’, culminating in a science exhibition held for parents at the school. We also began to ‘grow’ our new reflection garden and the children worked with their parents to begin planting. The garden will also house the benches created by the children in a Prayer Space afternoon, offering the whole school a place to sit quietly, reflect, and enjoy nature.
Years 3 – 6 took part in an inter-school cross country event held at Cirencester Deer Park school. The children demonstrated incredible team spirit and should have got first prize for supporting and encouraging each other! It was a great sight to see the children running alongside those racing, supporting them all the way to the end. Well done to everyone involved.
