Our Platinum Jubilee Street party was a huge success. The children and their families enjoyed celebrating together, with singing and dancing from across the decades. As you can see from the picture, the staff enjoyed themselves too!

Our next big event for our families is our sports day, where the parents are invited for breakfast before watching the children take part and earning points for their house teams. Our PTA Summer fete will also take place on 15 July at 3.30pm and Siddington village residents are very welcome to join us.

This term our school Value has been Courage. Having the courage to do what is right, even when it is difficult to do so. We have also been thinking about how we can be courageous in our learning. We remember that making a mistake is an opportunity for new learning.

Last year we welcomed baby ducks into school and this year we have been watching quails hatch and grow. The children are learning about how to look after them and they are proving to be a joy to have in school.

The whole school has enjoyed a visit from the Life Education Bus. There was a workshop for each year group on safe relationships, growing and changing.

We are starting to think about saying goodbye to our Year 6 pupils. We have taken part in the Leaver’s Service at Gloucester Cathedral and the end of term hoodies are on order! We look forward to enjoying our last few weeks with the eldest pupils in our school, before they take the next step in their education journey.
