School News – March 2023

The 2nd of March is World Book Day. We aren’t dressing up this year but parents are invited to our Open Afternoon on the 3rd March to share a book with their children.

The 17th of March is Comic Relief Day. The children will be coming into school wearing something red or ‘ready for bed’!

Pupil Voice – The teachers are spending this term monitoring what the children think about school. Pupils have all said that they feel safe in school, that their teachers teach them about online safety, healthy eating and healthy relationships. They were all able to say who they would go to if they were worried about something in or out of school. In the subject specific pupil voice sessions, children were able to discuss how teachers help them to revisit learning, and they could discuss their learning from the term/year.
