Please join the trustees of Siddington Village Hall in welcoming two new members to the board: Penny Badger and Marjory Jarvis have kindly volunteered their time and expertise as co-opted trustees.
Siddington Village Hall is run entirely by volunteers from the village and surrounding areas. We meet every two months to discuss the running of the hall and major projects afoot. It takes many hours of dedication to keep the hall open for our village and the wider communities it serves. If you have an interest or skill you feel could benefit either the running of the hall or by hosting a class or workshop, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing siddingtonvillagehall@gmail.com.
Wednesday 21st December 2022 saw the 101st birthday of Siddington Village Hall, which rather serendipitously coincided with our annual Christmas carol concert.
This was the first since 2019, as Covid had scuppered all our best laid plans to celebrate its 100th birthday in 2021. The special occasion was marked with Lord Apsley rededicating the hall, and plenty of carols joyously echoed around the hall. The collection for The Children’s Society raised over £260.
Thank you to all that attended, supported the event with their time, and donated refreshments. We hope to see you all again in December. It’ll come around sooner than you think…
